While on vacation I wanted to use a beard oil that had a refreshing summer scent and luckily that was exactly what “Summer Night” by Lakeland Beard was. The profile of this oil was different, being a Patchouli, Grapefruit and Cardamom blend. It was citrusy and earthy overall just what I wanted for my vacation. Oil wise it felt amazing on my skin, within a few minutes my face felt hydrated and and itch free. I’m not sure if it was because of the heatwave or what but I did have to reapply one to two times a day. I didn’t mind this because it kept the scent strong and never fading. The oil also gave my beard a nice shine to it but never left it feeling greasy. The oil comes in a 1oz glass bottle with a baster style dispenser. The dispenser is the only thing I was truly not happy with because it is bulbed at the end so, on the hotter days, I had a more difficult time applying directly to irritated skin. Lakeland Beard was awesome enough to give a full ingredients list on the side of the bottle. The oil only costs £12 and, for international shipping, it came surprisingly quick, so both huge pluses in my book. Overall I loved my experience with Lakeland Beard and I want to try their “Winter Warrior“ oil and balm combo in the future.
